This Privacy Policy sets out how the app Lunari ("we," "us," or "the app") uses and protects your personal data that you generate and store within the app.

Data Use

Lunari respects and celebrates your privacy. There is no collection of usage data or personal information, no ads, no spyware. Lunari can store data related to your menstrual health locally on your phone, and this includes:

  • Period start and end dates
  • Cycle length and period duration
  • Symptoms and mood tracking data
  • Notes and personal observations
  • App preferences and settings

This data is used solely to provide you with period predictions, cycle insights, and personalized tracking features. We do not share, sell, or transmit your personal health data to any third parties, and it cannot be accessed by the app developer

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

  • Delete all data through Settings → Delete Data
  • Uninstalling the app also removes all data
  • Data deletion is immediate and permanent

Permissions

Lunari may request the following permissions:

Reminders: To send you period reminders and cycle predictions.

Biometric authentication (Fingerprint/Face Recognition): To secure your app with fingerprint or face recognition (optional).

  • Biometric data is processed by your device's operating system only
  • Lunari never stores, collects, or has access to your biometric data
  • This uses your device's built-in security features

If you don't want to use any of these permissions, you can revoke them at any time through your device settings.

No Third-Party Services

  • No analytics or tracking services
  • No advertising networks
  • No cloud storage or backup services
  • No third-party data processors

Data Retention

Your data is stored on your device indefinitely until you choose to delete it. We have no access to or knowledge of your data, so we cannot delete it from our end.
